(supposed to be 4:30, but K was late)
results:
K. 1000 steps = 830m
L. 1000 steps = 800m
MS. 1000 steps = 850m

other observations:

L. who walked in the east direction arrived right behind DAMU.

MS. who walked in the west followed the same couple the whole time.

K. who walked in the south was the most stressed about doing it properly. (the big sidewalk or road question?) (Is M a sidewalk person or a road person?)

L. who walked in the east direction met one of his ex-classmates on Charles Bridge.

I walked in the north direction and met a lot of policemen.
(+ I am either very bad at counting, or I have very small steps.)
